What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for a site to work securely; others track what you do.
How this website uses them
This website does not use cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking, and it does not store anything in your browser’s local storage.
We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which works without cookies or local storage and does not track you across other websites. It gives us aggregate figures only, such as page views, referring sites and page load times. See our Privacy Policy.
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set a strictly necessary security cookie to tell real visitors apart from automated traffic and to protect the site from attacks:
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| __cf_bm | Cloudflare | Distinguishes people from automated bots | 30 minutes |
| cf_clearance | Cloudflare | Records that you passed a security check, only if you were shown one | Set by the security check, typically hours to days |
Strictly necessary cookies do not need your consent under the European Communities (Electronic Communications Networks and Services) (Privacy and Electronic Communications) Regulations 2011, which is why this website has no cookie banner.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the security cookie may mean you are asked to complete a security check.
Changes
If we ever add non-essential cookies, we will update this page and ask for your consent before setting them.
